Had yogurt with granola for breakfast, I love this granola - vanilla almond. Mmmm. Only a bit of yogurt, no milk, trying to keep the dairy down but know I have to have some at some point... My bones are not getting any younger.
Lunch was another pita, considering our pita fail on Friday we both felt like one. And they were HUGE, and ridiculously awesome. And cheap, we used a coupon :P
I decided to bite the bullet and try making pulled pork for dinner. Variation of several recipes I have been looking at, and used pork loin instead of pork shoulder or something fattier. I was told it was dead easy, and... honestly it really was! Slow cooked it in the oven in my cast iron dutch oven with beer, apple juice, worcs, onion, garlic & spices for about two hours on a med-low temp:

Then smothered it in smoky BBQ sauce. Far out, it was good! There is seriously loads of it, so I made porkadillas for dinner. Sans cheese but still ridiculously good.
Lee is going to take some in to work for dinner tomorrow night, he is on night shift this week, probably eat it in a fresh crusty bread roll. Mmmm. I will probably have it for lunch in a wrap tomorrow, not sure yet, will worry about that at 6am.
I am looking forward to the weekend already, hanging for Lee's bday dinner, taking him out for steak with the McGregors. Fitting way to turn 30, don't you think? Meat and cocktails! Hopefully the week leading up will be an interesting food week, we will see....
