We did indeed have tacos on Thursday night, and they were goooood.
Friday breakfast was berries with yogurt, again. So good.
Lunch was naughty, but so very good. We went to Harvey's (again) and it was awesome. The shocking thing about this meal (chicken burger, condiments, chips, drink) is that it has less fat & less calories that a flatbread Subway with salami. No mayo, no cheese. Can you believe it?! I can't eat the normal subway bread, it hurts my stomach, so I go for the flatbread. I just found out, the flatbread has 10g of fat in it alone. I was shocked. Shocked and appalled! Especially considering it was a pretty shitty lunch.Never again Subway, you hear me?!
This Harvey's meal though? Awesome lunch.
I know I know, its not a ticket or a license to eat this all the time, but it was Friday, it was hot, and it was easy. Will have to tone this habit down though, I can see a pattern. How North American does the pic look though?!
I was so stuffed when I got back to work my mojo was really low. Finished work early and head straight to the gym for some solo spinning, as there were no classes on. It was nice to have the room to myself though, and I have to say my music is much better than our current spin instructors music. Same stuff every week, c'mon Paul, shake it up a bit mate!
Dinner was really tasty. Home made pizza, again, as I had all the leftovers in the fridge. The dough is not pleasing me though, I tried the same recipe as last time with white bread and I am still not happy with it. I want something lighter and crispier. There is a recipe in John Torode's 'Beef' cookbook, might have a crack at that next time, though that might not be for a while too, pizza overload maybe?!
This had mozzarella, goats brie, vine tomatoes, prosciutto, basil and chilli. And it was scrummy, we were nothing short of satisfied when we demolished this bad boy.
Here's to a healthier weekend eh?!
