Ended up having left over roast for dinner last night, in sandwiches. Yum.
Early morning start, spin class (flying solo this time, Lee is on shift), then to work where I had breakfast. Berries, greek yogurt and nuts with a drizzle of honey. Again. And it was delicious. I need to get back on to the grapefruit though I think.
Lunch was a bit random, it was the 'Pot Luck' lunch where everyone brings a dish. Well, meant to be everyone but not everyone did. The theme was cultural, I made the muhammara dip again, a few people commented on it, but not sure how well it went down overall. Loads left, I guess that's a sign eh? Never mind. So all up I ate two meatballs (Dutch, apparently) which were good, a load of greek salad (I think the highlight for me), some dip with pitas, some chicken salad, a spoon of shepherds pie and a spoon of butter chicken curry & rice. I then ate half a butter tart which was store purchased and a bit average, and a few rugelach pastries, which were awesome. I was stuffed though. There were a few things on the table I didn't try, but I definitely ate enough.
Dinner was... well... random also. I forgot to to defrost the mince for dinner. I had a fairly shitty long day, as did Lee, so we went to the pub instead, Mr Mastercard really is copping a beating. I had a Canadian club sandwich on rye, which is basically chicken, back bacon, lettuce, tomato and maple mayo. I have to say it was pretty tasty. I also had a bite of Lee's Reuben, which on the menu it said 'corned beef' which turned me off, I am a pastrami or smoked meat kinda gal. But they made it with smoked meat, so I had to have a bite, and it was awesome, even if they did forget to put the sauerkraut in there.
And that was the day. I still seem to be harbouring some kind of funk feeling. I hope to snap out of it soon and get back on the healthy food wagon. So easy to feel lazy and not care when you are in a funk, eh. Well, at least I am hitting the gym every day.... I guess.
peace out xx
