Another double whammy. Sorry, my funk spilled on to the weekend, and my blogging motivation was non existent.

Saturday morning I had watermelon, and went straight to spin class at 8am. Tried to work of some of that pizza from the night before. Its funny, Lee and I both realised how much less we ate compared to say, a year ago. Still, probably shouldn't have and regretting it now, but it was mighty fine pizza. So good in fact, that the guilt was overtaken by my funk and my stomach and I snacked on a bit more of it before lunch! Whoops.

Lunch was out and about, I had a chicken quesadilla from our favourite pub. And it was good.

Dinner was chicken caesar salads, sans egg as we ran out of egg, and sans prosciutto for the same reason. It was still pretty good though, I loaded it up with pickled peppers. Tasty little treats they are.
We then devoured an entire block of Lindt dark mint chocolate. Shame on us.

Sunday morning I had the rest of the watermelon for breakfast. No gym today. My funk well and truly set in, so I thought retail therapy might help. One pair of shoes later, I was feeling a bit better.

We did some grocery shopping, and well, while we were out and I was on a shoe high, we went for a drink at our other favourite pub, and stayed for a porkadilla. Man, those things are bloody awesome. I am going to try to replicate them... somehow.... Anyone got a recipe for smoked hickory bbq sauce?

For dinner I cooked a beef roast with potatoes, asparagus & mushrooms. I will add a picture later... maybe. It was pretty good, but the meat a little tougher than I would have liked. Still pink in the middle so no biggie.

And that was the weekend.
